Biography

Stephanie joined CSIRO in 1999 while completing a PhD in the area of electronically steerable wire and microstrip antennas. She published a book on this topic with her university supervisor in 2002. At CSIRO she has worked on millimeter-wave passive components, such as waveguide filters and microstrip to waveguide transitions, microstrip antennas for millimeter-wave communications systems with electronic beam steering, and millimeter-wave imaging.
The Xtreme Rate Wireless Systems project is currently investigating millimeter-wave integrated antennas and the three dimensional packaging and integration of such antennas.

Academic Qualifications

2001 PhD Griffith University, Investigation of Switched Parasitic Antenna Arrays with Application to Electronic Beam Steering for Mobile Communications Systems.
1996 Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronic Engineering with First Class Honors Griffith University.

Recent Professional Experience

2008 Senior Research Scientist, ICT Centre
2006 Project Leader, Cognitive Antennas, ICT Centre.
1999 Research Scientist, ICT Centre.
