Biography

Fariza finished her PhD from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at The University of New South Wales, Australia in 2005. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on providing an efficient resource management solution for programmable networks. She completed her Masters of Engineering from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at The University of Sydney, Australia and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 2000 and 1997 respectively. She also obtained a Diploma in Business and Finance from Coventry University, UK.

Fariza joined CSIRO ICT Centre in September 2005. Her research interest includes Traffic management and QoS on the Internet, Resource management/ allocation in programmable networks, Virtual private network, Network processor and embedded systems.
