Biography
I am an electronic engineer working as a research scientist in the Autonomous System Laboratory at CSIRO, located in Brisbane, Australia. My current research topic is visual-based robot tracking and localisation. In the past, I have worked as a researcher at Queen Mary University of London in European Union integrated projects. There, I have developed algorithms for real-time video event detection, applied for data retrieval. The topic of my Ph.D. was digital image/video processing, with strong focus on statistical signal processing methods. I have experience with digital watermarking and multimedia authentication, consisting of embedding and retrieval of hidden data in noisy signals. Also interested in general signal processing and pattern recognition.
